TADS (Temporary Anchorage Devices)
TADS (Temporary Anchorage Devices) have revolutionized orthodontics! TADS are tiny screws that serve as anchors for braces. The painless TAD placement procedure takes place in the orthodontist’s office and secures the TAD in the bone between the teeth. Say good-bye to headgear! TADS also allow for treatment of more complex cases that previously could not have been accomplished with traditional braces.

Digital X-Rays
Digital X-rays are a newer technology for taking images of the teeth and gums. The images are sent to a monitor, allowing Dr. Maro and the patient to view the X-ray and discuss concerns and treatment planning. Digital X-rays are faster and have 90% less radiation exposure than traditional X-rays.
